I need any demos that you all may have stored on your drives of any mEm footage. catch me on steam or whatever, I’m trying to get enough footage together to make a mEm movie.. as I’ve found a way to view old demos.

It’s 4:39am and I can’t sleep for SHIT, so I’ve decided to update you all (ie. whoever even still comes here, which is probably no fucker) on current affairs and latest goings on with mEm™. Just before Christmas around September we tried to kick mEm of again with a new line-up which infact looked very promising Rig, Phunky, Bullet, Burchy, Heapy, Splatio with no D as we usually would as D does not play competitive CSS any longer, all was going very well after several boot camps and training things where starting to look bright until the mEm curse kicked in again … unfortunately it wasn’t to be I myself had a very unlucky few months and had to stop playing, due to moving house, due to me playing such a vital role in the team we’ve decided to call it a draw for now, in fact myself along with D has decided to call it the ultimate draw and never play competitively at this game again, I am truly hanging up my spurs, to play competitively these days means to be very dedicated due to the level of quality out there, gaming has come along way in the last 10 years since I first start playing dial up quake 1 and red alert, its classed as a sport now despite what anyone says and unless you have a lot of free time and no cares in the world your going to struggle to keep up with the best out there. I believe Phunky is concentrating on his career and is laying off competitive gaming for a while(we’ve all gotta grow up sometime! all 3 of us are 26! scary!)

mEm however will still carry on in some form or other, we may in fact do another fun LAN someday that would depend on a lot though, in some form or other mEm will be around for along time yet, I can’t tell you how exactly, we will also consider selling the mEm™ brand for around 30 million sterling if anyone is interested….

This is something i have personally been waiting on for a long time, the 7G from SteelSeries which is the new Keyboard from the guys from SteelSeries.

Once again it looks like they have created a great product for us gamers, i mean it just looks fantastic

The reunion is for pure fun and to show that us older gamers can still put up a good fight and you never know maybe if D and Skank dont get stone we may get through the groups

I will also like to offer any #mEm.Lan attendee’s or fans that wish to attend i32 to join up in our seating group and if we get enough people we will take on of Multiplays private lan boxes for the weekend.

So Evil will be back for the weekend @ i32 and what is more scary it will have been 5 i-series events since any #mEm lineup attended a lan :S

It would seem the guys at SteelSeries have gone and done something i’ve been hoping they would do for quite some time, they have gone away and used the contacts to develop there very own gaming mouse

First off i would like to apologies for the lack of updates with details about #mEm.Lan 6, a few certain things have popped up since the last event which forced us to look at things in greater depth before jumping straight into the next event.

But now that is out of the way we have the ability to start looking forward to the next event and this is where we would like you input.

With all the large upcoming lan events in August we have been thinking of offering a bootcamp service for teams that are looking at playing at i31 and CGS Combine.

We was thinking of running the next #mEm.Lan the weekend before i31 so that teams could have a nice practise run before hand.

Now of course this would mean that we would only be looking at doing CS:S the entire weekend but we will of course still stick up the off Warsow or Rune server (or anything else you want) for when your not playing CS:S

So we would like to know what you think about this? Do you want a i31 warmup event? or would you rather we wait till after August and just go for another Fun #mEm.lan?

The choice is yours!

First of all i would like to say big, BIG thank you to all that came to #mEm.Lan 5 on behalf of everyone involved in with mEm-Gaming.co.uk.

This was our first Lan that was open to the public and apart from the few problems we had from Steam due to the lack of net access i think we can say everything went great and fun was had by all that came.

We had a great turn out and i would personaly like to thank everyone who played, helped and just turned up to support us.

We could’nt have done this without you guys and gals so thank you!

Thats right kiddies, the weekend of evil fun has come round so quickly - there is still a FEW tickets left for those that have not signed up yet, but be quick as the signup’s will be closing tonight.

There are a couple things we need to make sure people bring and do before they attend the lan this weekend.

First of all please can everyone attending make sure to put Steam into offline mode before they leave for the lan, we have had some technical problems with the net access at the venue and its possible that we wont be able to offer any for of net for the weekend, but dont worry we will be attempting to fix this!

Also can you make sure you note down the PayPal transaction ID of from you ticket receipt or just print off the confirmation email fro m PayPal it’s self.

Note that we will be open from around 6pm’ish on the Friday and kicking you all out around Sunday afternoon

We have had a great response for the #mEm.Lan 5 event in Bingley, West Yorkshire.

So much so that we only have 16 places left for this 32 man event! So if your still looking at coming you had best sign up and get your ticket bought ASAP.

We will shortly be confirming prizes for the fun competitions that we are running as well, these will range from cash or hardware goodies for each winner.
